Disney's Boardwalk Inn Resort Secrets
Disney's Boardwalk Inn will take you back to 1930s America. It’s right in the middle of the lively BoardWalk with beautiful views of the harbour and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to explore. It’s particularly fun to stay at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn as the whole area comes alive at night when duelling pianos get to work to the delight of the crowds, and everyone gets into the holiday mood. It’s really easy to get to Epcot on the water taxi or by foot.
Chandelier
The Boardwalk Inn is home to one of the strangest and funkiest chandeliers that I have ever seen. It's called the Hippocampus Electrolier and it features mythical creatures that are half sea creature half horse. The chandelier weighs a whopping 3000lb.
Nanny Chairs
In the lobby of the Boardwalk Inn you can find four of the ugliest chairs in the world. The chairs are cast from the original 19th century carousel chairs. The initial intention for this type of chair was to allow nannies to take a well deserved rest while the children enjoyed the carousel. On the back of each of the chairs at the Boardwalk inn there is a name that is rumoured to be the name of the children of the imagineers who created the chairs. The Chairs are named Todd, Paul, Alex and Carrie. Watch our youtube video to hear the spooky fact about these chairs.
